HomeBase Youth Services is an Arizona-based non-profit agency founded in 1991 to address the growing needs of at-risk and homeless youth 21 years and younger in Arizona. Programs include: Early Intervention/Prevention, Street Outreach, Medical Outreach, Transitional Living, Independent Living, Employment and Life Skills and a Learning Center for street kids to earn their GEDs. Bashas' supports Make A Difference, a volunteer agency that works with community service organizations to manage flexible volunteer projects on an ongoing basis and staffs these projects with responsible volunteer groups or individuals. Each month, Make A Difference offers 50 volunteer opportunities in partnership with a variety of local non-profit agencies and schools. Projects address critical community needs: Homelessness/Hunger, HIV/AIDS, Environment/Renovation/Affordable housing, Children and Families, Literacy/Tutoring, Elderly, Animals and People living with disabilities.
